In Key Stage 3 we continue to improve our students’ ability to speak and write fluently so that they can communicate their ideas and emotions to others and through their reading and listening, others can communicate with them. Through reading in particular, students have a chance to develop culturally, emotionally, intellectually, socially and spiritually.
We also offer personalised interventions to improve students reading, handwriting and phonic in Key Stage 3.
In Key Stage 4 we work towards AQA GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature along with personalised interventions to support those working below grade one on entry.
