In Key Stage 3 students are taught to be become more fluent in the fundamentals of mathematics, including through varied and frequent practice with increasingly complex problems over time. They are taught to reason mathematically by following a line of enquiry, conjecturing relationships and generalisations, and developing an argument, justification or proof using mathematical language. They are also taught to solve problems by applying their mathematics to a variety of routine and non-routine problems with increasing sophistication, including breaking down problems into a series of simpler steps and persevering in seeking solutions.
We also offer personalised interventions to build students understanding and confidence in essential maths content.
In Key Stage 4 we work towards Edexcel GCSE Maths along with personalised interventions to support those working below grade one on entry.
